The
Business Language Training packages are
mostly beneficial to those who are:
- Employed
in a job that requires foreign language skills
- Secretarial
and administrative staff of firms that deal with international
clientele
- Language
trainers and teachers that want to update their teaching
methodology
- Students
and job seekers who are looking to acquire language skills to
increase their employability in the global markets of today
The
language course is organised in 2 levels: intermediate and
advanced.
According
to the
Common European Framework of
Reference (Attenzione

Framework”)
the
course level are:
Level
A2 -
Basic user
that:
-
Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related
to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal
and family information, shopping, local geography, employment).
- Can
communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and
direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
- Can
describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate
environment and matters in areas of immediate need.
Level
B1 - Independent user
that
-
Can understand the main points of clear standard input on
familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure,
etc.
- Can
deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an
area where the language is spoken.
- Can
produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of
personal interest. Can describe experiences and events, dreams,
hopes & ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations
for opinions and plans.
In order to determine the user's
language level, it is necessary to complete the Self-Assessment
checklist available at the beginning of each of the four language
packages.
